Straight Answers on Cost
How much does a roof inspection cost in Dallas-Fort Worth?
A True Roof inspection is a flat $250 for single-story homes and $350 for homes that need two-story ladder access. Both include the full slope-by-slope inspection, labeled photo documentation, and a written, plain-English report delivered within 24 hours.
Why do two-story roof inspections cost more?
The $100 difference is a flat access & safety fee for working at two-story height: taller ladders, additional equipment, extra safety setup, and more time on site. It applies to every two-story inspection, including when ladder access is already set up at the property, because the height hazard is the same. The inspection and report you receive are identical.
Is the $50 deposit an extra charge?
No. The $50 deposit reserves your inspection date and is applied toward your total, so a $250 inspection is $50 now and $200 later. The balance is due before your report is delivered.
Are there any hidden fees or upsells?
No. The price you see is the whole price. True Roof does not sell roofing work, repairs, or materials, so there is nothing to upsell. The only price difference is roof access: $250 single story, $350 two-story ladder access.
