What it is

New Roof Installation Inspection in Dallas-Fort Worth

A new roof is one of the biggest checks a homeowner writes, and the only person who has usually looked at the finished work is the crew that installed it. A post-install quality inspection gives you an independent check of the workmanship. We inspect the new roof slope by slope against common manufacturer installation requirements where they are visible, check flashing, penetrations, and ventilation, and note any damage or debris left behind. You get dated, labeled photos and a plain-English written report within 24 hours. We do not install roofs, so our only job is to tell you what we see.

The difference

Independent. Not a contractor. Not an adjuster.

We do not sell roofs, we do not perform roofing work, and we do not work for insurance companies. We are paid only to inspect and document your roof, so our findings have no agenda. You get the truth, with photos, and you decide what to do next.

Common questions

New Roof Installation Inspection FAQ

When should I schedule a post-install roof inspection?

Once the crew says the roof is finished. Request online, pick your preferred date, and we inspect the completed installation and deliver your written report within 24 hours.

Can you tell if my new roof was installed correctly?

We document everything that is visible on the finished roof, including shingle alignment and exposure, starter courses, flashing, penetrations, ventilation, and edge details, and compare it against common manufacturer installation requirements. Some items, like the nailing on every shingle, are covered by the layers above them, so we document what can be seen without damaging the new roof.

What happens if you find installation problems?

We document each one with labeled photos and a plain-English description in your report, which is delivered to you. We do not perform repairs, so the findings carry no sales agenda.

How much does a new roof inspection cost?

The same as our other inspections: $250 for single-story homes and $350 for two-story homes, with a $50 deposit applied toward the total and a written report within 24 hours.

Independent roof inspection and photo documentation only. True Roof does not act as a contractor, public adjuster, attorney, or insurance company, and we do not negotiate or handle insurance claims.
